How to Start a Solar Energy Business (cost effectively)

The renting of a solar energy system for your home is a new, attractive twist to the idea of switching to renewable energy. With the adoption of a leasing or rental model for residential solar electric systems, an average homeowner can now go green at home as well as build a part-time, solar energy business. The following article outlines the step by step requirements needed to start your own solar energy business.

Step 1: Understanding the Solar Energy Business

Environmental entrepreneurs are charged with connecting with homeowners, educating them related to their alternative energy options, and providing them with the option to rent a solar electric system. Investing in residential solar power is now simple, cost-effective, and easy to adopt, for the U.S. homeowner. A person can become an environmental entrepreneur or solar energy consultant by starting their own solar energy business. Not many renewable energy service are so simple.

This type of renewable energy business entails no up-front fees to get involved but there are time investments related to educating yourself and in turn educating the American homeowner about residential solar electric systems. The solar system rental model is just taking off with huge demand expected in the new several years. Residential solar power is close to parity with many electricity providers. U.S. homeowners no longer only have one option to solar electricity, i.e. purchasing a system. They can simply rent a system and perhaps build a solar energy business on the side.

To start a solar energy business, a person does not need to be a college graduate or a seasoned sales executive. All that is needed is the desire to make a difference and share the belief with others that solar power will make that difference.

Step 2: Structuring of Your Solar Business

As a solar energy consultant, you are trained and supported by an experienced sales manager. The sales manager will support you in your initial days of solar energy industry education, sales cycle management, and how to effectively use the free sales tools. As you progress and begin to desire more responsibility, you can become a sales manager yourself by beginning to build your own marketing team.

Step 3: Registering and Completing the Solar Energy Training

Registering by entering your information and signing up online is just the first step to working towards managing your own solar energy business. Training is the second required step in the process. This small business opportunity demands detailed knowledge of the solar energy industry.

You do not need to become an electrician or solar energy system installer but you should work to understand the difference between fossil fuels and renewable fuels, to understand how the electricity grid works, and to understand how residential solar energy works. You must be properly trained in solar energy topics and related technology so that you have the confidence to pass on this knowledge.

Online training and other solar industry assets are provided to help you with the new associate testing. Training tools, testing, and ongoing support is all free. It is also important to continually build your knowledge of the renewable energy industry. This solar energy business requires no investment on your part but it does stress training and the use of training tools because accurate knowledge breaks down barriers.

Step 4: Receiving Solar Energy Business Support

This solar energy business is centered upon ongoing support and growth. It is necessary for solar energy consultants to process solar system sales or referrals. There are free sales cycle management (CRM) tools included with this business opportunity. The sales aids make it very simple to complete the processing and help homeowners to rental a solar energy system.

Many resources are given to create a support system for your solar energy business: One-on-one training from your sales manager, raining resources, books, brochures, internal and external corporate websites, help desk and knowledge base (both support and training), and much more.

The small business opportunity outlined here has real meaning. Its grassroots goal is to spread the use of clean, renewable solar electric power as simply and as rapidly as possible. This opportunity has eliminated as many obstacles as possible to both the rental of solar electric systems for home owners as well as to entrepreneurs wishing to start a solar energy business.

The overall job of a solar energy consultant is to become ambassadors for positive change in the World of renewable solar energy. Solar energy is vital to the U.S. national economy, energy efficiency, and the Climate Crisis. There is a simple choice to do the right thing. By helping America to rethink solar electric power, you can start your own solar energy business in a very cost effective way.

At Solargies, our goals are not to just promote the adoption of alternative energy sources and the help change the general mind set towards improved energy conservation but it is also my personal quest is to create a powerful, grassroots movement for social, economic and environmental change. Affiliate Network and Web Development

Before the advent of commercial web sites, many web fanatics produced content and web sites for no particular reasons. There was more experimentation than an intended purpose to hit the jackpot.

Unfortunately, the first phase of web development was not properly documented and the evidences and records we have today are too meager to prove anything. We cannot for sure say as who were the pioneers for developing the first true commercial web sites. What we know is that a decade before the end of the last century, designers and developers produced countless web sites with different features being highlighted.

In the second generation of web development some refined business models over the existing crude ones were developed. However, success was short lived and projections proved to be gross miscalculations.

Leaving aside all that happened in between, today commercial web sites are highly valued. The site owners are racing towards the success with entirely new game plans.

The purpose of this article and text is to explain affiliate marketing and the services of network with the web developments in the backdrop. Affiliate marketing was born after Internet marketers entered into agreements with the advertisers to market their products. The developers or to be precise the owners of the web sites took a new position, that of a marketer and started promoting and selling the products of the advertisers.

The first affiliate networks realized early the need of some system to track the advertisement viewing and its impacts. Luckily, solutions for the same could be provided with computer software that monitors all activities on the web page. As such it became the secondary service for the affiliates or publishers and primary for the networks to provide tracking solutions to the advertiser.

Affiliate networks have also made a name for themselves by attracting merchants and service providers from different domain and industry sectors. It is the ,affiliate network that has to do the convincing. affiliate network play a vital role as intermediaries and their services are much required for the smooth functioning of affiliate marketing. This is the story of early web initiatives and the advanced business models you will find today.

Network and security managed service consultancy.

BIO's clients are typically service providers and major systems integrators.
Where their clients are responsible for architecture, project deployment or operational services for their corporate end-user customers, BIO assists by providing and managing on-site teams of technicians, thereby sharing thier collective insight and in-depth experience.

BIO crosses the boundary between pre-sales and delivery. BIO's consultants will work along side thier client's account and service managers, identifying opportunities and creating managed services. They then follow through to delivery via our BIO associates.

BIO associates comprise a mix of 30% permanent and 70% contract staff. Importantly the contract staff are very much part of the BIO team, are well known to them and are co-owners of the company.

This means BIO's clients can draw on expertise as required, and the teams they provide are highly motivated, as their technicians have a vested interest in the service they provide.

A cornerstone of the BIO philosophy is that every person that makes a contribution to our joint success, should be a co-owner of the company, and be rewarded based on their input.

Our premise to our associates is; by building, running and owning the company they work for, they all have a much greater opportunity to benefit in the success they create, when compared to simply being an employee or an individual contractor.

A successful team has the opportunity to be worth much more than the sum of its parts. They are creating this value by bringing together the various skills, knowledge, capabilities and ideas that reside within the group of BIO associates.

BIO operates on a lean business principle; they keep their overheads to a minimum and focus on giving our clients excellent service and value.

BIO is not owned by a venture capital company, or a large corporate. The profits are not siphoned off to pay share-holders dividends. BIO is owned by all of the technicians that take part and they plough their profits back into the business to help build for the future

No Win No Fee and the Conditional Fee Agreement

In the UK there is an average of 2.5 million people suffering from personal injury every year. These people face losing income and independence as well as facing lifestyle changes.

Anyone can suffer a personal injury accident and they can happen via a number of different avenues such as a road traffic accident, a work related accident, slip, trip or fall in a public place or a medical negligence accident. The personal injury accidents that lead to a no win no fee claim seem endless.

Under UK law it is stated that a liable person, who is the negligent party in a personal injury accident, must compensate the injured person for any loss; however only 31% of people claim compensation using the legal process, which makes us wonder why people are accusing the no win no fee process of turning the population into a compensation culture. The actual truth about people using no win no fee compensation is the realisation of their legal and civil rights. Everyone has an obligation to avoid causing harm to others just as the UK law has an obligation to help victims who are subject to harm.

The way in which compensation claims were previously dealt with was through using legal aid. This method has since been replaced with the Conditional Fee Agreement, know as CFA. By replacing legal aid with the Conditional Fee Agreement it means that anyone can now pursue a compensation claim, regardless of their financial status. Legal aid was replaced between 1998 and 2000 with the Conditional Fee Agreement.

By changing the way in which we go about claiming compensation it means that the process of claiming compensation through a no win no fee claim is easier and allows anyone who has been injured through an accident that wasn’t their fault to be able to claim the compensation that they deserve. It provides a lot more flexibility and reduces the hassle that was previously surrounding compensation claims.

A no win no fee claim stands for an agreement between you and your solicitor and is generally used in the context of Conditional Fee Agreements. A no win no fee claim means that if you lose your case you won’t have any fees to pay. If you do win your compensation claim then your solicitor fees and any disbursements (export reports and barristers/solicitors opinions) will have to be paid but thanks to the Conditional Fee Agreement and since 1st April 2000 it is stated that the losing party has to pay the success fees of the winning party, leaving your damages untouched.

If you are planning on claiming for compensation then it is important that you seek legal advice before putting in for a compensation claim. This legal advice will be able to inform you of your chances of winning your compensation claim. There are a number of no win no fee compensation claim companies available today so your chance of winning compensation has never been higher.

To help your compensation claim have more of a chance of being a success it is important that at the time of your personal injury accident that you preserve as much information as possible such as the details of witnesses and if possible taking pictures of the scene.

Buying Property at Auction

When it comes to buying property there are numerous ways in which this can be done. The most obvious and common of which being through your estate agents. However in recent years many people are turning to alternate ways of getting their dream property, one of which is the option of buying you property at auction.

When thinking of an auction you start to picture antiques and painting being sold, the fact that you can bid on a property or piece of land rarely comes to mind first but statistics show that 90% of cheap property is sold through auction.

The type of property that you can buy through auction can be anything from houses through to unused shops or even warehouses. Most of the property that appears at auction is merely just the shell of the property meaning that the interior will need renovation to turn the property into your dream home or business. This should especially be noted within older property; you should expect anything from it.

Although, unlike an estate agents, you don’t get as much choice of property at an auction, you do get something that is a little bit different and a property that has its own uniqueness. Properties that appear at auction will more than likely require a form of renovation which is why it is highly important that if you do decide to pursue the idea of buying a property at auction then you must be prepared with a clear knowledge of exactly what you want from your property.

It is really tempting to go to an auction and purchase something that doesn’t fit your needs or requirements. You need to make sure that you don’t purchase something from an auction for the sake of buying. This is why before you visit an auction make sure that you decide the sort of property you want i.e. number of rooms, location and size of property as well as setting yourself a budget of how much you are intending on spending whilst at the auction. By sticking to guidelines such as these you will stop yourself from attempting to take on more than you can handle. You should also research into what certain auctions are going to be holding; not all of them will be offering property for you to bid on. Preparation and planning will ensure that you get what you need from the auction.

If you do decide to go ahead and purchase property from auction then you need to ensure that you have the time and money to make any necessary renovation work that may need to be carried out such as plastering, electrical re-wiring or any plumbing work that may need doing before the property can be used. This renovation work can be very time consuming so it is important that if your property is going to be used as a home, that you have an alternate form of accommodation until the work is completed.

Just ensure that when you buy property from auction that you plan and prepare for every possibility as it could be the line between success and failure.

Conservatories, the perfect addition to your home

When you have brought your dream home and got it looking ideal many of us start to look at ways of expending what we have already got to make it even better. There are numerous ways that this can be achieved such as a loft conversion or a barn conversion or even extending over a garage to create an extra room but if you are looking for a more simple way of giving you and your family that little bit extra then why not invest in a conservatory?

A conservatory can do a lot for your property such as giving you an extra room. It can create the extra space that your home could be bursting for or you could choose to use it in a more unusual way. Whatever you have in mind there are certain tings that need to be decided on before you make any building plans.

The main and first consideration that you need to thoroughly think through when it comes to the decision of a conservatory is what you want your conservatory for. There are so many options open to you when it comes to this decision. Some of the most common uses of a conservatory includes:

• A playroom
• A dinning room
• Office space
• Second living room, no more arguments about the TV!
• A room for your teenager and their friends to hang out in
• Or as an extension to your garden

Many people however decide on a more unusual purpose for their conservatory such as a swimming pool, a games room where they can keep a pool table or a poker table or maybe you are planning to install your own bar to entertain guests. The list of possibilities really is endless but remember the size, layout and style as well as the materials that will be used are all based on what you intend to use your conservatory for.

To get the best from your conservatory it is important that you take the time to find the best building company to construct your conservatory. You should get quotes and shop around to find the best deal. However remember you get what you pay for so don’t just decide to go for the cheapest.

When deciding on your conservatory you should choose your material wisely but be aware when doing so as the material you choose can affect the lifespan, practically and usage of your conservatory. You should ensure that the material that you choose should be easy to maintain and clean. PVC frames are the best option along with a stone or brick base. When choosing the base of your conservatory you should choose one that is an exact or a very close match to the stone/brick that is used on your property.

If your conservatory is going to be south facing it means that it will be exposed to more sun in which case you need to provide adequate ventilation with a good choice of blinds for your window.

Your conservatory should compliment your house and shouldn’t take up a large amount of space in order for it to look the best; remember it acts as an addition to your house rather than a ‘bolt-on.’

Within the UK you don’t generally need planning permission to build a conservatory, however it is always advised to check.

Helen is the web master of ARCH Building Solutions who are specialists in Building Contractors and have years of experience in Conservatory Installation .

Business Funding – How to Raise Finance

When going into a new business venture you need to keep a close watch on your money and keep in mind when and how you are going to pay back the resources that you lent money off. Many businesses grow fast and the debts that come with them grow even faster. If you’re going to be a success you need to be smart and have a plan for your expenditures.

However as the famous statement goes; “It takes money to make money.” So how are you going to find the cash that is needed to get a new business venture off the ground? There are many avenues that are open to you but finding the right one to suit you and your business needs is the hard part.

If you got another job to fuel your venture you run the risk of burning out. You could hurt your health and the relationships of those around you as all your time will be given to work.

Another option open to you is lending money off family and friends but just like the idea of getting a part time job, lending off family and friends has serious flaws, even if you are lending off people you have total trust and comfort with. If you did lend money off loved ones and your venture become an ultimate success then great, you have no need to worry and your relationships are untouched but if your venture fails so do your relationships, is it really worth the risks?

Credit cards are a great resource to fund your business and to get it off the ground. For Visa the number of small business credit card transactions grew by 29% last year alone. You need to be careful though, can you really afford to get in that much debt and start paying it back pretty much straight away?

More professional and even reliable forms of business funding come from places such as Venture capital/equity funding. Venture capital is a widely used phrase. A venture capitalist provides assistance and expertise with business planning as well as providing your business with money. They have industry knowledge but you should be aware that their primary motive is to make a lot of money. Most venture capitalists are only interested in businesses that are guaranteed to grow to be a large company. If you’re a small store don’t waste your time on venture capitalists.

One way to gain money for your business is to try and apply for a Grant. Normally never repaid; grants are a one off payment to companies who are doing specific projects. A grant helps towards the cost of a specific area of business. They are given by local authorities/Government/European Union. They can be a great help to your business, however if you pin all your hopes on gaining a grant and then fail to receive one you are back to where you started, trying to find capital to start your business up.

What remains the best source of money for new business ventures is a business angel. A business angel is a wealthy individual who has already made their fortune. They involve their time, money and experience into a company. Business Angels are very important to new and growing businesses but they are still a under utilised source of money.

Business Angels invest in all different types of businesses across many industry sectors and they invest especially in businesses that are in there early stages. The commitment of a Business Angel is often very strong and a business angel will do everything they can to get your business to be a success. They are the best and most reliable way of getting money into your business in the early, make or break stages.

Self Storage Units

For years people have been storing items whether it’s personal belongings or items that are just not being used regularly but cannot or won’t be thrown away. Storage units have become much more sophisticated than they used to be but the principle remains the same. The amount of storage units has increased over the years and they are a lot more sophisticated. Many units these days have climate control, 24 hour CCTV and intruder alarms and fire safety precautions. Some also offer free unlimited access during Opening Hours, assistance with removals plus professional help with domestic and document storage as well as the use of trolleys and pallet trucks,

If you are considering renting some storage space then you should first think how much space you will need. Inevitably the more space you will need, the more you will have to pay. But there are ways of making the most of the space. If you are storing large objects like mattresses remember you can always pack things in between them like pictures or mirrors.

Some tips on storage – some more obvious that others.

• Create a pathway through you storage space so you can access everything easily.
• Label everything
• Think about climate control – do you need it.
• Items you need access to store at the font
• Items you know you wont need for some time store at the back
• Location – does the storage unit need to be close?

If you have furniture you will need to measure the size of the objects and keep in mind if they are strange shapes you will be wasting some of the space. Remember to use all the space so if you are storing a table without being able to remove the legs then there is the space under the table that can be utilised. If most of what you want to store can be stored in boxes then this will be much easier to store. Using square boxes allows you to stack the boxes neat and easily and you will get more for your space.
Self-storage is an inexpensive way to meet your increased storage needs. They come in handy for storing items such as garden furniture or tools that only get used in the summer. Also seasonal sports equipment can be stored throughout the seasons that you can’t use them. Maybe you just need to store some items for a short period like when you are redecorating or remodelling your home. Some people use storage units for storing many household objects to make their house look tidier and less full of clutter when they are trying to sell it.

If you live in the West Yorkshire area then Keep Safe Self Storage is the company for you. As well as very reasonable storage costs they also provide:

Internet Business Tips to help you choose the right opportunity.

As the internet continues to expand so do the number of online business opportunities. While there are some great online businesses there are also several which read like gold but produce very little. In fact many people loose money on the internet business investment. So what do you need to look for when considering starting an online business. Check out my great tips below.
When I evaluate a company, I look for these key points. Keep in mind, when I join a company, my #1 goal is to make money and to do it legitimately. I do not want to hurt anyone or rip anyone off. This is what I’ve learned and these guidelines will help you determine what company is right for you.

If you are not making at least 75% of the upfront commission when you make a sale, forget it. This means that you are doing all the work and the company and/or the person above you is making all the money.

If you have to have 1000, 10,000 or 20,000 people in your organization before you make any real money. DO NOT Join. Most people will NEVER get there.

If they teach you to hold home parties and invite all your friends. Run away fast.

If they have a sales pitch 2-3 times a day and only 2-3 training classes per week. This means that the company is more interested in selling you than training you how to make money long term

If you can’t break even or get into profit with 3 sales, forget it.

If you can’t speak with the owners or the corporate office via phone or webinar, Forget it. I like to know who I am doing business with before I will do business with them.

If it is a start up or in pre launch, forget. The chances of these companies becoming the next Amway is about as good as winning the lottery. At least with the lottery, you have a chance to win once or twice a week. You might as well go to Vegas and blow your money on a good time. At least you’ll have some great memories, see a great show and have a great meal.

These are not all the rules for success on the internet, but this is a great guideline to follow when evaluating an internet company. Use these guidelines to help you narrow down your choices for choosing a company that best fits yours goals.

Know before you Store! Self Storage Tips

Renting storage space can be an easy, convenient, and cost effective way of keeping your home clutter free why still having quick access to your important items. In order to get the most out of your storage experience however, it is important that you know all the aspects of self storage so that you don't pick the wrong rental space or overpay for what you need.

The first item to consider is how much space you are going to need to store your items. Obviously the rule of bigger is more expensive applies - the more space you need, the more it is going to cost. There are two aspects to paying for a larger size. If you will need quick and frequent access to your items, then consider obtaining a larger space simply because you can leave more open space and don't have to unpack half the unit just to get to your coffee maker.

If you are planning on storing everything long term (until your next move for example) or don't expect to need most of the items stored in the unit; you can significantly reduce the cost of the storage unit simply by packing to the ceiling. Remember to be creative in packing! You can pack lots of smaller items between soft larger items. For example, you could put a handful of picture frames between two mattresses.

Regardless if you plan to access your items frequently, it is always a good idea to move the items you KNOW you won't be using to the back. These are often the largest items, such as beds, TV's, and other furniture. It is much easier to move a handful of smaller items to get to one big one, than the other way around.

Think in terms of box's and squares. Items that are square by nature will be easier to cram, stack, and occupy more space efficiently. It is a good idea to write down everything you plan to store and see which items can be clustered together before hand. Store these items first, so you can work with the left over space to place items that are oddly shaped or hard to group.

When packing, make sure to leave a path down the middle of the unit, that travels all the way (or almost all the way) to the back of the unit. This way, if you do need to retrieve something from storage you only have to move one section of your well organized storage instead of having to dig through the whole unit to get to one item.

The next thing to consider is if you need climate control or not. Many storage facilities hype up the need of climate control because they can charge more and recoup the cost of installing it. The fact of the matter is, that most people simply do not need it. Unless you have very sensitive items such as antique documents, foods or liquids, you shouldn't be paying twice as much for storage with climate control. Heat and humidity will not damage furniture, electronics, or other common household objects.

Finally you need to consider the location. In most cases you want a location that is easy to get to, and near by. Also consider if the storage facility has multiple locations, as you might move across town and it would be easier to simply switch unit locations rather than start from scratch with another company.

By choosing the right unit and planning your storage techniques you can save a lot of time and effort when storing your items. Self storage is a great way to keep the clutter of your house down, and it is extremely cost effective when done properly. Remember that planning is key, and the better you plan the happier you will be that you decided to store your unused items instead of letting them sit and take up space in your garage or basement!
